Tickets and Prices

You can load a season ticket to a personal Waltti travel card for unlimited travel in the zones of your choice within a specific time frame.

The season ticket can be for 30, 90, 180, 279 or 365 days.

You can also buy a season ticket on Waltti Mobiili app for all customer groups except seniors.

You can load value (0,65–500 €) to a personal or multi-user Waltti card.

Value ticket prices

You can transfer from one vehicle to another during the validity of the ticket. The transfer times are 2 zones = 70 minutes, 3–4 zones = 120 minutes.

LSL offers a mobile application Waltti Mobiili. The app can be used to buy single tickets, season tickets (see prices under season tickets) and day-tickets for adults, children (aged 7–16) and students.

A registered user can choose different payment methods, such as a bank or credit cards. An unregistered user is charged on the mobile phone bill.

Mobile ticket prices

Tickets purchased from the mobile app are valid immediately. Information on how long the ticket is valid for is displayed above the QR code. You must scan the QR code when getting on the bus.

You can buy more than one ticket on the same app (e.g. in case of a child travelling with an adult).

Waltti Mobiili is available in English, Finnish and Swedish. The app is  compatible with the latest versions of the Android and iOS operating systems and you can download the app from App Store or Google Play.

You can conveniently pay your fare on all LSL buses using your bank or credit card’s or mobile device’s contactless payment feature.

Ticket prices

The journey paid with contactless payment has a validity period of 90 minutes and you always have to select the zones, even if you are changing from one bus to another.

Cash is not accepted as a payment method on LSL buses.

Customer service at Lahti-Piste sells paper single-journey tickets if you are unable to use other ticket purchase methods.

A paper single ticket does not include the right to transfer from one vehicle to another.

For visitors and tourists, a day ticket is the cheapest and most convenient option if you need to make three or more journeys during one or several days.

Day tickets are available for all zones and you can choose the number of days for your ticket from 1 to 7 days.

Day ticket can be purchased from Waltti Mobiili and at sales points.
