The old zones will be replaced by a single travel zone. The length of the trip will no longer affect the fare. The new pricing will follow the current two-zone fares.
One travel zone
- No zone boundaries – You can travel throughout the entire LSL area with the same ticket.
- Simpler pricing.
- Customer groups remain unchanged, meaning children, youth, students, and seniors will continue to receive tickets at a lower price than adults.
- 70-minute transfer time. Valid with all payment methods (travel card, Waltti Mobile app and contactless payment).
Easy and simple travel
- When purchasing or validating a ticket, you don’t need to know which zone your destination stop is in.
- Easy travel throughout the entire LSL service area.
The change does not require any action on the part of passengers. The zones for Waltti travel cards, season tickets, and mobile tickets will be automatically updated in the backend.
